Understand and explore perfectionism
Across the three workshops, participants will be guided to better understand what perfectionism is, how it develops, and how it can impact emotional well-being. Art-making becomes a way to externalize and reflect on inner experiences that may be difficult to put into words.
Recognize your personal patterns
Through creative exploration, participants will identify how perfectionism shows up in their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. This process supports increased self-awareness and helps uncover underlying beliefs and needs that drive perfectionistic tendencies.
Practice self-acceptance and compassion
In a safe and non-judgmental space, participants are encouraged to soften self-criticism and develop a more compassionate relationship with themselves. The creative process supports embracing imperfections and cultivating self-acceptance.
Move toward more realistic and flexible expectations
Participants will explore new ways of relating to their standards, shifting from rigid perfectionism toward more balanced, realistic, and sustainable expectations. This includes learning to tolerate mistakes, uncertainty, and the creative process itself.
Our Services
Explore what perfectionism is and how it functions in your life. Through guided art-making, you will create a visual representation of your perfectionism, helping you externalize and better understand its role, impact, and purpose.
Identify the situations, thoughts, and emotions connected to your perfectionism. Through a creative mapping process, you will explore where these patterns may come from and what needs they may be trying to meet.
Engage in experiential art-making that invites imperfection, flexibility, and spontaneity. This workshop focuses on developing more compassionate self-expectations and creating a new, more supportive inner narrative.
What to Expect
Through expressive art techniques such as drawing, painting, and collage, you’ll engage in a process of reflection, exploration, and transformation. Art therapy supports self-expression and self-awareness by helping translate internal experiences into visual form.
As this workshop is held virtually, you are invited to use any materials you have at home. Suggestions include:
paint, markers, colored pencils, pastels, magazines (for collage), scissors, glue, or natural elements.
No artistic experience is needed—only curiosity and openness.
A Supportive Space
In this group, you will be welcomed into a safe, inclusive, and non-judgmental environment where exploration is encouraged and perfection is not expected. The focus is on the creative process rather than the outcome, supporting emotional expression, self-discovery, and personal growth.

A little bit about me:
I’m a passionate bilingual French-Canadian art therapist who believes individuals are fundamentally creative and possesses the internal means to self-actualize. I consider arts to be a unique way to get in touch with our self (our true authentic self) and I trust that the agent of healing lies within the artistic process, rather than in the outcome. My professional values are authenticity, respect and collaboration.
Areas of Experience:
My goal as an art therapist is to create a safe and caring space that promotes creativity, well-being, expression and self-knowledge. I accompany individuals experiencing various emotional and relational difficulties, among others related to self-esteem, grief and loss, life transitions, self-care, trauma, stress and anxiety. I also have experience accompanying caregivers living with a family member who has a mental health issue. I have experience working with an adult clientele as well as with children and adolescents.
Therapeutic Approach:
I am a sensitive, open and professional art therapist working from a client-centred, emotions-focused, trauma informed and strengths based approach that integrates mindfulness practices as well as cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused therapy (SFT) interventions.
I currently provide services in English and French to individuals living in Ontario and Quebec.
